For city hotels
Room service for a city hotel with a busy front desk
Late arrivals, business guests who want dinner in the room, tourists from many countries. In a city hotel, the reception phone rings most when the desk is busiest. Roomtray moves room service orders off the phone and onto a board.
Fewer calls at the desk
A guest who wants a club sandwich at 23:00 scans the code and orders. Reception keeps checking in the next guest, and the order goes straight to the kitchen or the night staff. Questions like "what is in this dish?" or "until when is the kitchen open?" are answered in the menu.
Kitchen and bar, each with its own board
With Pro, each category is assigned to a station: dishes to the kitchen, drinks to the bar. An order with both is split, and each team sees only its part. Every station can have its own tablet and its own Telegram group.
- Up to 200 rooms in Pro
- Unlimited staff accounts, each with its own login
- Reports for a whole year
High turnover, without strangers on the bill
In a city hotel, rooms change guests every one or two nights. Check-in verification links each room to the surname of the current guest, so a code photographed by the previous guest stops working after check-out. Staff accepts every order, and each room has limits on how many orders it can place in an hour.
Guests from everywhere
Business travellers read English, tour groups read German or Polish. The menu opens in the language of each phone, and your staff sees the order in their own language on the board. Nobody needs to translate at 23:00.
Is Roomtray suitable for 150 rooms?
Yes. Pro covers up to 200 rooms with unlimited staff accounts and separate stations. For larger hotels write to [email protected].
Can we separate kitchen and bar?
Yes, with Pro. Each category goes to its station, and mixed orders are split automatically.
How does the bill reach our PMS?
At check-out reception prints the room bill from Roomtray and adds the total to the PMS as one line. A direct PMS connection is planned.
