About
Room service for hotels that have no room service department
Large hotels have a phone line for room service, a team that answers it and software that connects it to the bill. Small hotels have a printed menu on the desk and a receptionist who does everything. Roomtray is built for them.

Why we built it
We kept seeing the same evening in small hotels across Central Europe: a guest calls reception to ask what is in the soup, the receptionist walks to the kitchen, the order is written on a piece of paper, and at check-out nobody remembers whether the wine was paid. The tools that existed were made for restaurants or for chains with an IT department.
Roomtray does one job: a guest orders from the room in their language, the team accepts it on a board or in Telegram, and the amount goes on the room until check-out.
How we work
- The price is flat. We take no commission on orders, because room service is already a thin business for a small hotel.
- The free plan is a real product. A guesthouse with 15 rooms can use Roomtray for years without paying.
- Data stays in the EU, in data centres covered by the GDPR. Guest details on orders are anonymized after 90 days.
- We write in plain language, in the admin panel and on this site.
Where we are
Roomtray is operated under Austrian law and serves hotels across the EU, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Ukraine. The site is available in 26 languages, the admin panel and support in English, Ukrainian, Czech and German. The guest menu speaks 26 languages.
