Apart-hotels rarely have a kitchen team, and often no one sits at a reception. Guests still want breakfast, a bottle of wine, fresh towels or a later check-out. Roomtray turns those wishes into orders that reach your phone.
A menu built from what you can deliver
You do not need a restaurant to offer room service. Many apart-hotels sell items prepared by a partner bakery or kept in a store room:
- Breakfast boxes ordered the evening before for a set time
- Coffee capsules, water, wine and snacks
- A welcome basket for families with children
- Extra cleaning, fresh towels, a baby cot, late check-out
Each category has its own hours, so breakfast boxes can only be ordered until 20:00 for the next morning.
No reception, orders on your phone
When nobody is on site, orders go to Telegram. The person on duty accepts with one tap from home or from another building, and the guest sees the expected time. If nobody reacts in 3 minutes, a second person gets a reminder.
Charges collected with the stay
Delivered orders collect on the apartment. You see the total for each apartment before departure and settle it the way you already take payment for the stay. Roomtray takes no commission on orders.
House information in the same place
Wi-Fi password, how the heating works, where to put the rubbish, check-out time. Information pages sit next to the menu in the guest's language, so the questions you answer by message every week are answered before they are asked.
We have no kitchen. What can we sell?
Anything you can deliver: breakfast boxes from a bakery, drinks, snacks, cleaning, towels, late check-out. Requests without a price work too.
Who receives the orders if nobody is on site?
Whoever is linked in Telegram, on their own phone. Several people can be in one group, and the first one accepts.
Can guests pay online?
Not yet. Orders go on the apartment and are settled with the stay. Online payment for apart-hotels is planned.
